- Description
- The most frequently represented domain in the catalogue of known human cancer genes is the protein kinase domain. Inhibition of mutant protein kinases has proven to be of remarkable utility in cancer treatment. In this study, the protein kinase domains only from the 518 genes have been examined in a collection of 8 acute lymphoblastic leukaemia samples. Only two mutations have been observed in this analysis through the 518 kinase genes.
