- Study
- MPD kinase
- Study ID
- COSU29
- Description
- Protein kinases are frequently mutated in human cancer and inhibitors of mutant protein kinases have proven to be effective anticancer drugs. In this study, the coding domains of the entire protein kinase gene family have been examined in a collection of haematopoietic neoplasms (12 polycythaemia vera, 4 chronic idiopathic_myelofibrosis, 3 myelodysplastic syndrome). No mutations have been observed in this analysis through the 518 kinase genes, or through TP53 in the MPD additions study.
