Gene Mutation Details - Positive Data
This table shows the positive mutation data associated with the selected gene/sample/tissue/histology/mutation type. This table also provides the ability to search, sort and export the table in csv or tsv format.
Table Contents
- Sample Name - The name of the sample that the mutation was found in. There can be multiple sample ids linked to the same sample name if it is unclear whether the same sample name between different publications is indeed the same sample.
- Sample Id - The unique id of the sample that the mutation was found in. It links to sample overview page for more details.
- AA Mutation - The change that has occurred in the peptide sequence. Formatting is based on the recommendations made by the Human Genome Variation Society. The description of each type can be found by following the link to Mutation Overview page.
- CDS Mutation - The change that has occurred in the nucleotide sequence. Formatting is identical to the method used for the peptide sequence.
- Primary Tissue: The primary tissue from which the sample originated. More details on the tissue classification can be found here
- Tissue Subtype 1: Further sub classifications of the samples tissue of origin.
- Tissue Subtype 2: Further sub classifications of the samples tissue of origin.
- Histology: The histological classification of the sample.
- Histology Subtype 1: Further histological classifications of the sample.
- Histology Subtype 2: Further histological classifications of the sample.
- Pubmed Id - The ID for the paper that the sample was noted in, linking to the cosmic reference overview page to provide more details of the publication.
- CGP Study: Lists the unique Ids of studies that have involved this gene/sample. It links to the detailed Study Overview page, listing all details from the selected study including samples and genes analysed.
- Somatic Status: Information on whether the sample was reported to be Confirmed Somatic, Previously Reported or Variant of unknown origin.
- Sample Type: The type of sample - Tumour Sample, Cultured Sample or Unknown.
- Zygosity: Information on whether the mutation was reported to be homozygous or heterozygous within the sample.
- Genomic Co-ordinates: The genomic coordinates of the mutation (GRCh37), with links to the COSMIC Genome Browser and Ensembl.
