- Pilot: DNA damage response and repair

- Genes in this study are those we have analysed to date that have been shown to be involved in DNA damage sensing, checkpoint control and DNA repair. Multiple genes (e.g. ATM, BRCA1, BRCA2, MSH6, MSH2) have been shown to be mutated in human cancer including several hereditary cancer syndromes.
The samples in this study are a set of cancer cell lines that all have a matched normal cell line. All of the mutations are confirmed as somatic.
Sequencing of any given sample through the gene sets should be considered work in progress. Lack of reported mutations in any given gene for a particular sample does not necessarily imply the sample is wildtype for the gene.
