- Pilot: Genes associated with ERB family of RTKs
- Study ID
- This gene set is comprised of proteins known to interact with the ERB family of receptor tyrosine kinases. A group of anti-proliferative proteins called the BTG family are present in this set. This family includes B-cell translocation (BTG) genes and transducer of ERBB2 (TOB) genes which all share a conserved BTG domain. This family is so called because a translocation involving BTG1 has been found in B cell lymphocytic leukaemia.
Sequencing of any given sample through the gene sets should be considered work in progress. Lack of reported mutations in any given gene for a particular sample does not necessarily imply the sample is wildtype for the gene.
